Our Second Annual “Accounting Appeasement” Offer

Last year, we had some fun with an “inventory reduction offer,” which came at the direction of the accounting department. (It actually didn’t; we just blamed those fine folks because we didn’t want to use a certain four-letter S-word.) Nomenclature aside, it was a resounding hit, so we wanted to bring it back this year! We added some wines this time that we really didn’t need to, but hey, we’re ultimately a customer service business and our clients’ happiness is a top priority. The truth is that we’ve constantly got great wines coming through our doors, so offering a bit of a price break on something we didn’t strictly have to is just our way of saying, “Thank you for your business.” 

Today’s offer is so full of absolute gems, we hardly know where to begin. How about some 100-point Riesling, or 100-point Accendo? What about Araujo’s former project, Eisele Vineyard, now owned by Château Latour? Or perhaps you’re looking for some French head-turners, like Billecart’s Clos Saint-Hilaire, or any of several 2020 Drouhins, or magnums (really) of Edmund Vatan Scancerre? (Yes, THAT Vatan.) Your cellar could always use some 97-point Burghound-rated Musigny, right? Or better yet, some ultra-rare Brunello from Stella di Campalto?

All of which is to say: you really can’t go wrong with today’s list!
