The 2017 Pinot Noir Swan Terrace comes from eastern-facing, terraced vines in the Alpine vineyard. Pale to medium ruby, it offers loads of red fruitsa Bing cherries, raspberries and cranberriesa with blackberries, potpourri, dried herbs, peppercorn and woodsmoke. It’s earthy in the mouth and light to medium in weight, with firm, grainy tannins and woven freshness, finishing spicy. This will benefit from another couple years in bottle.
