Papaya, white peach and passion fruit are accented on the nose by mint, boxwood, toasted almond and wood resin. Lime and grapefruit convey tangy, bright juiciness, leavening and enlivening the fruitiness that the nose had already led one to anticipate. Wet stone and moss undertones emerge with extended aeration. There is some looseness to the midpalate, but that connects up with the refreshment delivered on a very subtly sweet and lightly caramel-tinged finish – to which tang, piquancy and salinity of peach close to its kernel lend invigoration.
